1. When did Zan Fish get involved in the wholesale industry?
Zan Fish Wholesale started in 2014 from a vision by Nickos Zannetou and myself. 10 years later it’s a leading fish and chip supplier to the fast food and catering sectors.
2. Who is the current team behind Zan Fish wholesale?
So, the managerial team consists of Directors Nickos and myself, Darren who is the Transport and Operations Manager, Bobbie as Sales Office Manager and Michael who is the New Business Development Manager.
We’re a really close team and we’re passionate about ensuring our wholesale is the best it can be, which makes it great to work together when you all have the same goal in mind.
3. What do you love about working at Zan Fish wholesale?
I personally really enjoy developing and enhancing Zan Fish’s relationships with customers and fish and chip suppliers, ensuring our customers obtain the very best range of products and services at the most competitive prices is really rewarding.
4. What benefits does wholesale bring to the Zan Fish group?
Zan Fish Wholesale benefits the group by being able to try, test and develop new products in our own shops before going to market.
It also allows us to be more strategic with our buying as we purchase in bulk, helping us reduce waste, ensure consistency and offer competitive prices as a leading fish and chip supplier.

5. That’s great, finally, can you share with us any success stories from the wholesale aspect of the business?
Yes, actually, a great success story is about one of our customers, Craig. Originally from Derby, he decided to open a fish and chip shop in Hong Kong. Nickos went over to Hong Kong to train the staff. We also assisted with the development and branding, we’re proud to say it has now become a very successful business.
