From humble beginnings
What’s been a family tradition for over 45 years, there is something special about Zan Fish and the infusion of a dash of passion, a sizzle of excitement, and a handful of great flavour to create our truly amazing fish and chips. The great tasting quality of our food stems from decades of dedication so we can prepare and serve delicious, freshly cooked takeaway food worth shouting about.
Our team are passionately committed towards making Zan Fish a success, with Nickos and Maria at the heart of the business. Having spent years in the industry learning from their parents, Nickos and Maria are all about Zan Fish and are striving to keep the family tradition going for years to come.
Bringing our culture to Zan Fish
At Zan Fish, we value our heritage, so much so that we introduced our family name, 'Zannetou' into our brand to reflect our family business venture that first began in the 1960's. Our mission back then, and still to this day is to offer simple and delicious takeaway food for the local community and beyond. We’re proud of our achievements, and what's more traditional than fish and chips, after all?
Although things have been challenging recently, this hasn’t prevented Nickos and Maria putting everything they have to ensure Zan Fish’s continued success. Nickos says: "Times have changed over the last couple of years and we've had to adapt to our customers' needs. The setup of click and collect and delivery have helped to get our signature food to everyone in Derby.”
Passionate about our products
There’s nothing we love more than putting our passion into the food we produce. We've worked hard to ensure all of our fish and chip shops are consistent in quality, using only the finest ingredients. All prepared in our 5 star hygiene kitchen, our range of food offers something for everyone. From our traditional fish and chips and our tender kebabs, to our juicy burgers and Mediterranean inspired grilled wraps, we do it the Zan Fish way.
Everything we do at Zan Fish is about our delicious and signature food. As the business expands, our wholesale side will now be supplying our fish and chips to the lovely people of Hong Kong. This exciting new development is a real achievement for Zan Fish and it’s this collaboration and innovation that is always at the heart of everything we do.
