A family legacy
Zan Fish has been a cherished family tradition for over 60 years, with Nickos and Maria at the helm, continuing the legacy that began with Maria’s parents, who first opened the doors, long before the business took on the Zan Fish name. Decades of industry knowledge, passed down through generations, have allowed them to master the art of preparing fresh, delicious fish and chips that the community loves, continuing on with their Derby story.

Our Derby story started with our first shop in Stenson Road in the 60s and over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to expand throughout Derby. With locations in Village, Heatherton, Allenton and Spondon, as well as some special mentions to Zan Wholesale, Zan Fish Grill and Zan Fish Express.

There’s nothing we love more than putting our passion into the food we produce. We've worked hard to ensure all our fish and chip shops are consistent in quality, using only the finest ingredients from our Wholesale shop.
All prepared in our 5 star hygiene kitchen, our range of food offers something for everyone. From our traditional fish and chips and our tender kebabs, to our juicy burgers and Mediterranean inspired grilled wraps, we do it the Zan Fish way.
Everything we do at Zan Fish is about our delicious and signature food. As the business expands, our wholesale side supplies our fish and chips to the lovely people of Hong Kong. This exciting development is a real achievement for Zan Fish and it’s this collaboration and innovation that is at the heart of our Derby story today.

Though our story began in the '60s, it’s far from over. Nickos and Maria remain committed to upholding the family values that have made Zan Fish a success. The quality of our food is a testament to years of dedication, ensuring that every meal is made with care, cooked fresh, and served with pride.
