Over 55 years of Zan Fish and counting
Tied by a strong family tradition, the Zan Fish journey began in the 1960s, with a simple goal to serve the best fish and chips to the people of Derby. Since then, our goal remains the same, but we’ve grown and adapted to new ways of life. From our gluten-free fish and chip offering, to our delicious vegetarian options that suit a range of tastes and diets. We’ve also seamlessly introduced online ordering, including our Click and Collect service, as the modern need for this has increased since we first opened our doors all those years ago - this has seen our food reach the mouths of even more amazing customers in Derby.
With over 55 years experience in the first and chip industry, we’ve been able to perfect our methods to ensure we’re providing the highest quality and best tasting fish and chips possible. Having first started out at the Stenson Road shop, we now have 5 shops in total that each serve fresh, flavoursome and filling fish and chips to our loyal customers. Sustainability at Zan Fish
The passion we have for our ingredients and flavours, also applies to our passion towards sustainability. As a food business, it’s our responsibility to serve the best fish and chips in Derby, whilst also ensuring we don’t harm the environment. That’s why we’ve taken the steps to reduce our environmental footprint - our produce is sustainably-sourced, our food packaging is recyclable and our cups are biodegradable.
We’ve also made efforts to buy in bulk from our own warehouse of produce, only using high efficiency frying ranges, and we account for all of our waste oil. It’s these small changes that have a big impact. We’re proof that you can be the best, all whilst being sustainable, and having the extra support from our customers makes it even better.
